What we offer
Help with legal documentation or advice on the terms of manufacture
Being based in the North West, a hotbed of the manufacturing sector, we act for a large number of manufacturing companies and we are therefore familiar with their requirements and the challenges such companies face. We understand that manufacturers are no longer focused on looking at when we will return to a pre-pandemic state, but are instead using the lessons which they have learned during that period to keep developing and evolving in an ever-changing environment.
We provide advice and support to manufacturers, engineers and innovative companies to protect their innovations and to profit from new domestic and global markets using well-drafted agreements, as well as those who deal with manufacturing companies as part of their business.
Our experience
One of the members of the team is a non-executive director of an international manufacturer of drums and reels. This, alongside the wealth of experience in acting for a variety of manufacturing clients, means we are familiar with the issues which our manufacturing clients need to address and we can draft and advise on the relevant commercial agreements accordingly.
How our commercial solicitors work
Our attention to detail and our familiarity with the issues which manufacturers have to address, enable us to provide commercial advice and to tailor our legal documentation to meet our clients’ requirements. We are always approachable and available, dedicated to protecting our clients’ interests.

Jeremy Orrell – Legal 500 UK 2022
Jeremy Orrell is an excellent leader of the firm who is widely experienced in corporate matters and an excellent organiser.
Chambers and Partners UK, 2022
We found them very approachable, they led us through the sales process from start to finish and explained what we needed to do, what they would do for us and why in a way we understood. From the way the business sale went through I would say we felt SAS were far more “on the case” than the buyer’s solicitors. I have recommended them to business associates and would use them again without hesitation.
Legal 500 UK 2023
We were informed at an early stage that if anybody became unavailable, (due to Covid mainly) that because multiple people were involved we would get the service we were expecting without delay. We did.
